Hello I am trying to run a cgi script anyboard.cgi. The problem is that it is forbiden when I try to access it my address is http://www.powermaster.dyndns.org/cgi-bin/anyboard.cgi (to the script) I have allready chmod it to 755 and that dose nothing I even went as far as to chmod the CGI-Executables folder to 777 and 755 no help. Any Suggestions?

with the defaults settings, i think all you need to do to run a CGI scrpit is to chmod 755 the cgi script, so i can t see what might be wrong. you didn t monkey with httpd.conf, did you?

hey, why are you running apache 1.3.23! you should be running 1.3.26! havent you run software update lately?

there is a bad apache virus out there, and you are at risk!

Sorry that you give me a thumbs down. I am just tired of misuse of the word "hacker" and am trying to clear it up a "little". That why the intro.

Not to get too off topic, but saying that sounds kinda like saying "RAID Array" - it's just not quite right.

TMRC was the Tech Model Railroad Club. It wasn't an MIT lab, though many of it's members later became an integral part of MIT's AI lab.

I bring this up only because you claim to be trying to clear up the meaning of the term "hacker," so you may as well get the origins correct.
