This Christmas I'm going to get the courage up to ask my father to buy me something, and since I just downloaded one of the coolest game demos ever (JK2) I was thinking along the lines of a boost for my computer.
So what should I ask him for? A memory upgrade for my iBook? Or a super-cool graphics card for my iBook? Which one would really make a difference in my game playing?
Thanks for comments!

You're going to have a really hard time upgrading the graphics chip, it's manufactured on the motherboard...
The best alternative is overclocking the processor. I could to that for free if you pay shipping. I love overclocking Macs, and I've soldered on five Mac processor cards before, so I'm pretty trained. But I don't take any responsibility if I wreck anything...
Overclocking together with some more RAM should boost performance a whole bit. How much RAM have you got?

A true sign of a trained professional if I've ever seen one! :p

hehe :p
I said that only because I'm doing it for free, and because I can barely afford keeping my own G4 alive... I can't start oaying for other's computers if anything went wrong...
But, I've never ever messed up a Mac, and I hopefully never will, either ;)
The risk is low as long as the max CPU temperature is under 65°c and the CPU core voltage doesn't exceed max. rated value :)

I'm not sure about overclocking. Memory upgrade will probably the way I go. Plus there's no way I can ship my Mac anywhere! I can't stand to be away from it for more than 8 hours. :D
