WoW Installation Problem

I've just reformatted my Mac and I'm having problems reinstalliing World of Warcraft on my Mac. For some reason, after clicking on the WoW Installer, the installer launches and the initial sound plays but nothing happens even after 5 minutes.

Anyone know if there are issues with the Installer and OS X Tiger 10.4.2? I've managed to install it on Tiger before, so this comes as quit a surprise.

and after endless attempts to find some answers, this is the only thing i found.

The problem is with the file format of your drive. If it is HFS+ with journalling & case sensitivity (which is new in Tiger), the only solution is to reformat and just go plain HFS+ with journalling (which was available in Panther).

Annoying, and stupid. But that's the reason it fails.
