Hey, I've played World of Warcraft since it's release and I quit a week or so before I started at Uni (I'm a first year). I figured I wouldn't have enough time. Turns out I have more than I did to begin with, and the expansion just looks awesome. Some friends of mine (on Windows machines) have managed to get several mmos working via tunnelling software, because of the network, it won't work without. The Uni network has a proxy/firewall yada yada that's stealthed a lot of ports. WoW is one of those ports.

I'd like to be able to play the game and I couldn't actually find any mac tunnelling software on google. I'm using a Powerbook G4 with the latest update for OS Panther (I couldn't really afford Tiger).

SSH covers most needs. There is a GUI called SSH tunnel manager (http://projects.tynsoe.org/en/stm/").
