It just needs to be on the network. Try the demo if you're unsure if it will work.

Wired or wireless

Connect360 works with both the Xbox 360 built in network port (wired) and the Xbox 360 WiFi adapter.

Connect360 will automatically detect your Xbox 360 and your Xbox 360 will automatically detect your Mac running Connect360.

Yeah, why would it only work via wifi? It's just networking.

I have used it both wired AND wifi networks on TWO different xbox's.

Don't worry if you don't see it in the Connect360 side of things, go to the xbox Media tab and look for the computer. It works as long as you set up the folders properly.

An FYI, the Movies folder will not read other folders so you'll need to have all movies-to-watch just in the immediate Movies folder on the Mac.
