Hi there...
I have an old Beige G3 that I would love to upgrade to OSX. I have tried before with no success. Does anyone have any ideas or similar experiences... or am I basically wasting my time.

The specs on my primary system: Beige G3 Mini Tower (originally a G3/266)
G4 at 533 MHz with 1 MB of L2 cache
640 MB of memory
ATI Radeon 7000 (with 32 MB of VRAM)
Ultra ATA/66 PCI card
80 GB hard drive (connected to Ultra ATA/66 card)
original CD-ROM drive (on first logic board ATA bus)
DVD-ROM from a Blue & White (on second logic board ATA bus)
2 port USB card
20" display
Mac OS X v10.3.9For me this is a great system, and at a great price (free). And I plan on adding a CDRW to the last expansion bay and have room for a couple more hard drives... so it hasn't reached it's limits just yet.

OS X will run on a beige G3, just make sure you have at least 512 megs of RAM. It will be terribly slow but I got it working on my old iMac 233 mhz so you shouldnt have any problems. Good luck
