I'm used to OpenOffice and Word, good for linear documents, very bad for more complex documents. In the past, I used FrameMaker (fantastic, but quite expensive and not available on Mac OS anymore) and PageMaker (ok for small documents).

Is there any open software now available for that purpose ?
