Ipod Problem

Hello,
I have an 30G video Ipod.
I uploaded music to my itunes and from there to my ipod but it adn its shows that the music is on the ipod but when i disconecct the ipod from the computer, the songs i uploaded dosent appear.

Make sure you have the latest iTunes updates using Software Updater found in the drop down menu you'll see when you click on the blue apple icon in the menu bar.
