Greetings:
I just bought my Dad a used G4 running OS 9.2. I have not been able to get him on the internet. The problem seems to be that this computer is missing some of the internet start-up / set up software. Any idea where I might be able to find the requisite software and how I might use it to correct the deficiency?
Thanks -
SM

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any specifics about your internet connection.

If it is a generic connection via ethernet, then you would go to the TCP/IP control panel and make sure that it is set to the ethernet port and that it is set to use DHCP.

Should look something like this (http://www.shawcomputing.net/racerx/drive_setup/macos-tcpip.jpg).

Make sure you have the "Ethernet" plug in or your internet won't work at all.
