There has been recent speculation (http://www.macdailynews.com/index.php/weblog/comments/drm_free_itunes_plus_tracks_from_universal_warner_sonybmg_appear_in_apples/) that Apple is about to provide more DRM-free tracks through the iTunes Store, particularly as DRM-free tracks by Warner, Universal, and SonyBMG have apparently been spotted. I went to have a look at the iTunes Store just now but the iTunes Plus link is missing. Perhaps an announcement is imminent...

One could hope. I hope Universal gives this insane war against the iTunes Music Store.

We7 (http://www.we7.com) for those that don't mind a short ad at the beginning of each free song (apparently one of the backers of this project is Peter Gabriel).
