With this equipment how can i record my mixes?

I don't do anything fancy but I use Amadeus Pro (http://www.hairersoft.com/AmadeusPro/AmadeusPro.html) for simple things. But my buddy who does some semipro live recording of bands is Protools (http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?navid=54&itemid=4815&langid=1). Apple and some Pros suggest Logic (http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/). The choice is totally up your skill level.
