Picasa and eMac

We have just gotten eMac OS 10.4 (only) and really miss the picasa program on our old Windows computer.
Is there a program for our eMac (Tiger)?

iPhoto comes to mind, it comes with iLife if you don't have it. Otherwise, there is lengthy discussion on this topic here:

Picasa needs an Intel Mac.

System Requirements:

Mac OS X 10.4.9+
Intel CPU
256MB RAM
100MB available hard disk space

Sounds like we didn't get the right mac for photo work...
we were pc XL users before and thought mac would be more helpful
so we picked up the emac os X 10.4
Picasa is quick editing and convenient. Iphoto is limited and
we haven't purchased any programs yet, hoping to be able to
get a 'taste' of what is available for mac.
