Now maybe we won't see iPhone whiners invading almost every Mac comment on the Web whining about copy & paste. Now bring on the original iPhone no MMS, BlueTooth whining. :eek:

When OS 3.0 appears for end-users, the original iPhone will already be two generations behind the newest iPhone generation, I guess. I don't expect much whining here. However:

- Apple doesn't let me use my iPhone 3G in tethered mode right now. I can use my Orange Switzerland SIM card with iPhone contract without a hitch in my Nokia phones, though, so it's not a provider problem.
- Orange Switzerland has no support for Visual Voicemail, a feature that has been widely advertised by Apple.

Those are the things that get on my nerves. Oh, and: I'm veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery happy that iPhone finally gets soooooooo smart that I can search its contents. Woohoo. Welcome to the smartphone crowd. Now let's hope that this time, background push notification will actually appear. It's been a long time coming.

Well 3.0 will have tethering as long as the cell carriers allow it.
