Hi - I'm running Parallels on osx and the explorer in xp won't connect anymore. Safari connects fine, but I need IE to use this application. Did a virus hit my parallels side? I get the typical 'page cannot be displayed' message and after clicking out of IE that horrible noise sounds with the red X icon and says something about an error. Anyone know how to get IE running again? Updates...or some kind of online repair kit?
thanks
Mike

Are your virtual network settings correct for the XP virtual machine in Parallels?

How is your network set up? Bridged, NAT, host only...? Do other apps get to net?
What do you get with ipconfig?
(run > cmd > in that window type "ipconfig /all")
If there is no valid ip, ipconfig /release and then /renew should help you get a new lease.

Hmmm no network, just my macbook pro using airport wireless...I'll have to try the ipconfig thing when I get home.
