A few years ago I installed entourage 10.0 on my mac, my mac is a 10.3.9.
I've never had any problems until now... At first I couldn't open a new message, now I can open a new one but I can't send it! When I click on the 'send now' button nothing happens and the mail stays open. I also can't reply to any recieved messages.
I have to admit that I'm not really a genius when it comes to computers so this might be a stupid question but is there anything I can do to fix this?

First quit Entourage.

Then hold down the 'option' key while launching Entourage. You then should be presented with a box to rebuild your Microsoft database, do it.

LaurenEverything that you mentioned is related to your SMTP (out-going mail) server. Have you changed email providers? Are you trying to send email from a connection outside your email provider's domain?

Actually, we did change our provider but that was almost 4 months ago... So i don't understand why the problem suddenly accurs now.
Holding the option key and opening entourage didn't have any effect. Maybe I schould try to call my provider,anyway thank you very much for helping me:)
