Hello,

I am in big trouble (no backup)

I have MBP with 3 partitions.

1. OSX 39GB
2. DATA 78GB
3. VISTA 30GB

I decided to re-install Vista. Boot Camp ask for restore partition
to single and I did it. Now I have one 148GB partition. Is there a way
to undo, restore or recover ma data from 2. DATA partition?

Nope, not really.

You can try something like Data Rescue II, or perhaps even DiskWarrior, but typically, when you delete a partition, it's gone.

If the data is super-important, you may want to try a professional data recovery service like drivesavers.com.

Provided you didn't overwrite the volumes Data Rescue II would be an option. Disk Warrior not a chance. If it was overwritten I don't think even drivesavers can save it? Lessons learned to always backup (especially if you aren't familiar with partitioning drives).

Thank djackmac, I used this one but after scan all files have no name, just random number like 6789.zip,rar,avi etc ..

Good news my friend from Poland help me out, I recovered 99% in 5 hours.

How we did it:

1. Boot MBP as Firewire disk, Power On MBP and and press "T"
2. Connect to HP PC Laptop using Firewire cable, boot Vista.
3. Run R-Studio Network 4.02 choice scan partitions (HFS+,NTFS,FAT...)
4. Wait 1h for finish scanning 160GB hard drive and select files to recover.

Done :) Thanks for help.

ps. If some one need this program I can upload on Rapidshare.
