Well all of you should have seen the little controversy of Amazon killing Delicious Library's iPhone application (http://blogs.zdnet.com/Apple/?p=4354). But now Gruber (http://daringfireball.net/) found this SnapTell Blog post (http://snaptell.typepad.com/snaptell_blog/2009/06/snaptell-has-been-acquired-by-a9com-a-subsidiary-of-amazoncom.html) about their acquisition by Amazon.
How do you feel about this misdeed from Amazon ?

No one cares that Amazon did this?

I care - though it is a tough one as its Amazon's API, hey call the shots, we have just got used to using them as free service.
I am a Delicious Library user but it is risky to start a business based on servcies provided by other companies.

Are they still in talks? I mean: I'm sure they could reach an agreement of some sorts, no? (Delicious & Amazon, I mean...)

The one thing that got me was when Amazon bought out SnapTell they then threatened to shutdown Delicious if they didn't remove their iPhone application.
To me it looks like two things, Amazon is shooting themselves in the foot (loosing sales) and are trying to push the little guy out when they thought they could do it for themselves.
