When I try to jailbreak my iPod Touch 2G with redsn0w 0.8, it gets stuck saying "Waiting For Reboot". It got stuck here for at least 45 minutes. What's the problem?

What happens if redsn0w 0.3 hangs at "Waiting for reboot..."?

If it is the very first "Waiting for reboot..." and either Windows or Linux is the operating system, then all you have to do is unplug and replug in the iPod. This is a problem generally caused by using a USB hub instead of directly plugging the iPod into the computer. If it is the SECOND "Waiting for reboot...", this is a known issue. Occasionally the second iBSS crashes. We have not yet been able to ascertain the reason. Exit out of redsn0w 0.3. You must turn off the iPod by holding down Hold and Home simultaneously for 10 seconds and then re-enter DFU mode using the normal steps. Then, re-run redsn0w 0.3. It will probably work then.Hope it helps.

You can try running iRecovery.
