I'm trying to install Windows XP Professional (SP3) on my mac via bootcamp. I am able to successfully partition the XP.

But when I try to install the drivers using my Mac OS X Leopard (version 10.5), midway through the installation I get the blue screen of death. It always does it at roughly the same place.

The computer restarts before I can read the screen but it's something like "Windows has restarted to prevent damage to your computer".

Please help me :[

Sounds like an issue with the install disk you are using when trying to load the bootcamp drivers. Any scratches/scuffs on the disk?

Well I tried downloading the drivers and bringing them over in a usb. The same results happened in the exact same way.

I don't think it's the Leopard disk.

I'd start again from the beginning, reinstall Win XP and then put the Leo disc in again. But this time, disconnect the computer from the internet while installing XP. Could be a worm getting to your XP before it has the chance to install security updates.

I tried that. It failed at the same spot.

It seems that once it gets to "Broadcom wireless" in the installation, it always reboots.
