I have switched back to Mac after a 10 year stint on a PC at home. I use SnagIt a lot for screen captures and then editing the screen shot. Any recommendations for similar Mac software?

Snagit for the Mac is finally available as a beta. It "feels" a bit different, but you can basically do whatever was possible in Windows in the Mac version.
Go grab it here:

You can also take screenshots natively on your mac! :)
command + shift + 4, then space bar = grab a window
command + shift + 3 = grab entire screen
Firefox also has Screengrab extension which allows you to capture the browser window only or an entire web page and make it an image.

Thanks for the suggestions for the native options for screen prints. I really was looking for SnagIt because I also love all of the editting functions, callouts, arrows and borders.
I just finished downloading the beta version. I'm pleased to know about this option.
