First thing to remember is these are two different computer systems. First thing is to start sharing from the XP machine. The blog post Sharing files between a Windows XP PC and a Mac running OS 10.4.x (http://tech.ifelix.net/3020.html) might help. Also the blog post File Sharing With OS X 10.5 - Share Mac Files with Windows Vista (http://macs.about.com/od/macwindows/ss/sharemacfilesvs.htm).

Plus you have two ancient operating systems. Are you starting a museum? :D

I was trying to save money using these two PC's until i can switch over to Mac
Base. the G5 will be running my media library.
it came with the airport antenna, but i think i will also need to connect a airport extreme. not sure as of yet.
will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Kevin
