The following error code appeared when I ran the Hardware Test on my Imac G5

2STH/1/3: CPU T-Diode

Can anyone give me an idea how serious this problem is?

Thanks for the info. Guess its time to get a new iMac. I never thought about using google for the error code.

It means some of the capicators on the logic board bulge and leake they need to be replaced and all these capicators are on the main logic board.

You don't need to replace the whole logic board we could just replace these capicators at low price.
