Is this possible? My PB surely reads DL DVD+R but i have no idea if it can read DL DVD-R. Attached is that what kind of dvd it is fro system profiler but i have no clue from what it sais if its DL DVD-R compatible! Heck if i wouldnt of tested it reading those specs would make me think its was incompatible with any DL dvds. Correct? :o

Ah, OK...
You have a Superdrive, but not a DL burner.
Any DVD drive can READ DL DVDs. Almost any commercial movie DVD is a dual-layer DVD, so your drive has READ capability. The -R or +R really doesn't matter, as that only applies to writes.
You cannot write, or record onto any DL DVD, not with your burner.
