Firmware update for X4 superdrive

Howdy...
I just installed an internal LaCie A06 x4 DVD RW (superdrive) in my DA... when I do the software update, there is a firmware update popping up regarding burning issues with x4 media in x2 superdrives... So from what I understand, I don't need it, since my superdrive is x4... or do I?

can someone tell me? thanks.

On another note, for those who purchased this drive (LaCie A06 DVDRW x4 internal) early like me, burning CDs and DVDs is not yet supported by 10.2.6... we'll have to wait for 10.2.7 at the end of the month... good thing they told us that... until then, it reads DVDs and CDs just fine...
