Unreal Tournament for OS X?

I'm wondering if they are ever going to port this for OS X. I heard rumors once that someone was working on it. I can't upgrade to 2003 because i don't have a 700MHz processor. I currently boot back into OS 9 to run it and it works great. But that's kinda a pain in the butt.

that patch works perfectly, i've been using it since it came out like 2 years ago.
