Need The Sims Tips

I just started playing this one this weekend. Any tips to get my guy out of constant depression. If it is not social its fun. I lack ample time in the game to do stuff before going to work.

Also. I am trying to download certain furniture and walls from The Sim Resource (TSR). Any info on how to intall thesse .iff and .faf (i think) file types? TSR had an OS X FAQ but it is now missing.

PS - This game is pointless. I feel like I am playing dolls. It might be stupid and doll like, but I still played it for 8hrs straight last night....what is wrong with me.

Yeah, that game is stupidly addictive, isn't it? Haven't played in a while, mostly because I kept not sleeping when I had it installed...

I can give you a cheat that'll get you tons of money (done repetetively), if you wanna play around with another family.

I keep one family that I play "regular" with, fair and square, while another family resides in a mansion with all the amenities and life's little pleasures. It's great -- they're friends.

^ Are you talking about the "ROSEBUD; ;" cheat. I type that in and hold down the enter key and the money just pours in.

Yeah, I am, but shortly later realized that Jeffo linked to a very long cheat list for the Sims, including the ROSEBUD cheat... hehe...
