lan game with pc´s

I have quake 2 and I have a freind that has quake 2 for pc.. every time we want to play multiplayer a "wrong version" posts appears... what do i have to do to play quake 2 multiplayer with pc´s users???? thanxsss

You need to make sure that they're both running the same versions. In other words, make sure that Quake II on the Mac and PC are updated to the same version.

current quake 2 version for mac is 1.0.8 (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/13074). Quake 2 for windows is already at 3.20 (http://www.denken.com/dzone/q2downloads_f.htm). I remember a successful (:D) game against some of my friends on pc using these versions. Hope it will work for you as well.

The PC is the one that most likely needs to be updated. I had the same thing happen once at a LAN party. None of the PC users were on the current version, and all had to install the updater from ID software's site.
