Help with Automator

I stole this description from a different forum post, but am having the exact same problem...
The sequence is as follows:

1: Get Specified Servers
2: Connect to Servers
3: Get Specified Finder Items
4: Copy Finder Items
It all works until the last step, which 'encounters an error'. The log shows the error as 'can't read directory contents: /Volumes/MyName'
That 'MyName' is the enclosing folder of the folder in which I want the copied files.
The odd thing is that the files DO get copied, so it is working. But the error prevents me from adding another step (rename files) to the process.
I have tried changing both the 'from' and 'to' locations, and tried the process using files located on the same drive - same error.
Any ideas?
