automator: experiment with cut & paste

i am new in mac os and a pure virgin in automator, but i have plenty of experience with programming.

I have been trying to "learn by example" and so i am trying to create an application (and later a finder plugin).

So, my application currently looks like this:

The application simply put won't work: either my destination variable is not passed properly or even some times it will produce an error from the very first action (ask for finder items); running it again will work strangely.

Any hint?

karavite is an unknown quantity at this point
I'm sorry I can't help you here, but I had an idea/challenge for you. Years ago I used Quickeys to automate "Paste Special - Unformatted text" in Word. It was so useful. Why this is not the default "Paste Special" is beyond me. I think I might try an automater script to do the same. I think I do this 20 times a week!
