Save internet radio!

http://saveinternetradio.org/

I'm a HUGE internet radio listener.

Please, read up on what congress is doing, and stop the greediness of this.

The radio stations aren't being hurt nearly as bad with only 3% of "standard radio" income going to legal fees.

The recording industry is attempting now to impose fees so heavy that it would cost 100%+ of the internet radio income.

They know this, and they're not upset about it at all...

So, write to your congresswoman or congressman and lets get this stomped before it starts!

I don't really listen to any Internet radio stations because I can't do anything else while they are playing on my computer (56K). But I liked those sites that made creating your radio stations possible (http://www.live365.com/) for free. Too bad they are charging a fee now.

I just wish that they won't exile 56Kers out of macosx.com

xoot - do you mean by this that they should have a way less graphics-heavy version of the site, or something? If they did that, I would use it, and I have ADSL. This site just uses way too much graphics, it's annoying for more than just modem users...

I mean totally blocking us from the site because Admin's too lazy to put up a less graphics intensive site.

P.S.: No offense, Admin.
