| like fryke mentioned in the first page of this thread, I have no problem with MACs. They help my switches separate collision domains so that the network doesn't hiccup. They also help identify my NICs by vendor and device through MACs. Oh wait....the question was about Macintosh??? I believe it's actually spelled "McIntosh." I prefer Grannysmith ones myself. ![]()

| My old Powermac G3 (350mhz) just won't give in. Damn. I really have to get some new equipment though.It's reaching its limit in this every changing "latest goodies" world. And then some. Mac all the way baby. |
