| You can run YellowDog linux (or other PPC linuxes) _without_ VPC ... within VPC, any distro will do I guess. Ubuntu seems to be very popular. If you just want to test out some features or have a look around, why don't you try a live-disc distro? Also see here: http://www.macmerc.com/articles/Free...f_the_Week/296

| You can also run Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora Core 5, and Mandriva natively on your PowerPC based Mac. All you would need are the PPC ISO images and you're god to go. And apparently you can also start the install for x86 Linux using Boot Camp (saw it on digg).
