| Quark logos People may already be aware that Quark went for a redesign of their logo a little while back, but they encountered problems when they found the design was just a little bit similar to the logo of the Scottish Arts Council... For a comparison of the two logos, have a look at this article at The Register. Well, Quark were forced to go for another redesign of the logo, as a result. I've just noticed the new design: http://www.quark.com/ Now, is it just me, or is this quite similar to the one for Sony Ericsson (albeit not as similar as the previous design was to the SAC logo)? http://www.sonyericsson.com/   |

| This one's been rumbling on for a while, now. I think that the problem is that "there's nothing new under the sun". Just about anything you design these days will look a bit like something else.

| Yes, ultimately the designer makes the difference, but designers all use the same tools (ie, Illustrator, etc) nowadays. In a sense, the designs mostly use the same bucket out of the water well. What do you think?
