32" LCD screen. Around 30 lbs. or 30 kg? Amazon and Newegg disagree on whether an LCD TV I'm looking at is 30 lbs (13.6 kg) or 42 kg (92.4 lbs). 30 lbs. seems awful light for a 32" TV, while 92 lbs. seems awful heavy (and possibly too heavy for the intended table). What's probably right, 30 lbs. or 42 kg? (I edited the paragraph above to correct Amazon's weight from 30 kg to 42 kg.) http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16889102045 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...456430-6735943 Incidently, would one usually write KG, Kg or kg? --- Hmmm... Do I need a Mac reference? My iMac (LCD?) ain't exactly light per cubic inch. Last edited by minckster; May 22nd, 2006 at 08:22 AM.

Samsung's web site lists it as 30 lbs. EDIT: Whoops, wrong model. I was looking at the 3252D, not the 3241D. Samsung lists the 3241D as 42 lbs (not kg). In any case, 92 lbs sounds way too heavy for an LCD. Samsung's info page: http://www.samsung.com/Products/TV/L...=size_contents

Thanks Mikuro! I'm reminded of the commercial, "I could have had a V-8!" I should have thought of that. I checked out the TV in a store, but it wasn't in a place where I could try lifting it. All of its competitors were pretty light, so 35-45 lbs. must be right. I still haven't pulled the trigger...
