Google Warning

This BBC story today tells of Google's new system for warning Internet users if they are about to enter an unsafe web site.

Adware, Spyware and virii are no threat to Macs. As far as I know, no malware can penetrate OS X, unless unwittingly given adminstration rights.

Is this widely accepted?
