That's not really a Vista-specific bug imho, but rather a good reason why voice-recognition simply isn't the best idea. I'm pretty sure you could trick a Mac with voice-recognition activated as well.

although you'd have to trick the user into holding down escape while the naughty audio plays for you.

Nope. You can (or at least _could_ in the old days) control a Mac from across the room by letting it act on hearing "Computer" or something like that.

Yep, that was a classic "demo" moment for Microsoft. A bit like when Bill connected a USB device when demonstrating Windows 98's USB features and got a bluescreen directly.
