| What's your Mac called? Ok, a Mac should always have a name, what's yours called? I named my G4 Bonzo after John Bonham. The two partitions on the 60GB disk I added later got called Ringo and Ginger (more drummers of course). It ended up getting changed to Raoul after I was supposed to be connecting to my friends network with machines named after favourite literary characters but my Bonzo disk is still there. My Colour Classic is called Ed (Northern Exposure) and my old 5200 was named after a Borg. I'll say no more to avoid more geekness. My old work machine was Disco Stu ("Disco Stu has ouzo for twozo...") Other notable names are my friend's old and current PowerBooks - Lubo (revered ex-Celtic Slovakian footballer) and Talula. Maybe I should start thinking of names for my 15" PowerBook 970! Or perhaps get rid of some overdraft first and wait for the puppies to be released. Hmmph. Am I being sad? Probably, but I'm bored. Lets see how geeky you lot are then... Craig ![]() |
