| Simple ? about DVD Players What can I do with a $600 DVD player that I can't with a $150 one? I want to get a combo dvd player with vcr, and want a decent quality, inexpensive one. All I want to do is play DVDs and their special features and play my old tapes.

| The answer depends on what you want. The difference is going to be in the specifications and features. For $600, you should compare features and specs, decide if the extra money is worth it ( A high end/plasma screen/surround sound system may make the extra bucks worthwhile (you're already spending 6-10K or so, before you even get a DVD) For most people just adding to their existing system, pay the $150 =)
