Question SheetMusicPlus.com = Amazon.com ?

I'm wondering if SheetMusicPlus.com is a subsidiary of Amazon.com or if they just ripped off their site template...

http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/a/prod...music&id=70450

http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASI...931764-5592853

(Perhaps ripped off is too strong and accusatory an expression, but there are striking similarities...)

Well I was wondering if SMP was a subsidiary of Amazon:

From the bottom of the Jaguar web site:
"All rights, including copyright and database right, in the website and its contents, are owned by or licensed to Jaguar..."

Jaguar Cars is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Co; so no, that doesn't answer my question.

I was just curious.

I thought Jaguar was owned by Apple.

I don't see a big similarity between the two sites, personally. Sure, they have some similar elements, like the size and font of the links on the left side of the page, but they seem to be completely different e-commerce sites. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff that doesn't change much between e-commerce sites. I'd say there's more similarity between Amazon and B&N than Amazon & SMP.

Another reason I doubt the two are subsidiaries is because SMP has no mention of Amazon. Now, I know this is the same for Ford & Jaguar, but a couple years ago Amazon bought CDNow.com and, instead of simply adding their name to the existing site, they completely changed the entire format, making it just like the rest of Amazon and even removing all reference to CDN. I think they would have done this with SMP if they were part of the same megalopoly.
