First Pics: Apple release 23' iMac G5

In a rather surprising announcement today, Apple announced that they would be releasing a 23' iMac G5.

"We think there is a market for a 23' iMac, even though it is likely to be out of the price range of many consumers. The only problem we're seeing at this stage is shipping, since the 23-foot iMac takes up a space larger than the standard international shipping container."

Sources within Apple have attributed the announcement to a bad bout of funky-wunky flu, while others suggest it may have been a result of a typo 18 months ago which has not been picked up until now.

Jonathon Ives, CEO of product design, is quoted as saying: "After someone from product marketing sneezed on the entire Pro Apps team, we started seeing a lot of Apple Motion sickness and Eddie came down with the Shakes."
