That's great man!
*High five*
This is an absolutely worthless post and I feel like a goober doing this, but I'm happy! After approximately three and a half months of not having a Mac and using Windows XP, I am getting an eMac next week!
I know it's not the most glamorous computer, nor is it the speediest, but it's a G4 and should run OS X like a dream compaired to my previous iBook 500.
Hmm, I wonder what the first app I install will be ... maybe Chimera, maybe iTunes 3 ... I'M A NERD!![]()
Nah, I'm just happy I'm no longer stuck using someone else's PC.

There's no such thing as unglamorous Mac if it's got a G4 inside, and OSX, and an Apple 17" flat screen, and Jonathan Ive's design... you know what I mean![]()
Congrats Macko! (Tell us what it's like, I still haven't seen one yet).
Maybe you could put tail-fins on it.![]()
Congrats, anyway.
congrats man!

Congrats, Scott! As was said, there is nothing unglamorous about the eMac. I have been recommending them to lots of friends who don't have a lot of money to spend. For most users, it would be perfect.

poor macko no Mac for a LONG time
Whoo hoo! I got my eMac yesterday and after a few frustrating hours of work, I'm finally on the internet (AirPort & cable modem probs).
Anyways, the eMac is much nicer than I thought it would be. It's a bit sluggish but I'm sure it's due to the fact I only have 128 mb of ram. Just wanted to let you all know that I'm back with a Mac and couldn't be happier! Well, a 17" iMac would probably make me happier, but I can't complain!![]()
