Listening to the radio?

I am at a loss as to know how to mess with the audio (radio) capabilities of my iMac G5. I wish to listen to my local NPR radio station, but I do not know how to begin, do it, and stop. Anyone care to assist me? or show me where to go to find all this out?

I'm not sure whether you're aware of the fact that the iMac does _not_ have an FM tuner... You can listen to internet radio stations through iTunes. Might find some within iTunes, maybe the one you're looking for is among them...

You might want to access the webpage for your local radio station that has NPR and see if they have a link to their stream. I do that with radio stations that are here in Miami. Most of the time they have a stream that's accessible either through RealPlayer, QT, iTunes, Windows Media Player, or a podcast.

Incidentally, NPR has a bunch of podcasts if you check in the Podcast Directory from within iTunes in the iTunes Music Store.
