    Ridiculously (un)advanced computer company

    Anybody heard of L-Computer?

I just bumped into their website and I really have no clue what they are or what they want from life. They seem on the brink of insanity...

Check out this computer with no less than FIVE simultaneously running 40" LCD displays!

    http://www.l-computer.com/monitors/a...pecs/index.htm

    And, of course, their homepage.

    http://www.l-computer.com/home/index.htm

    .....
The site is generally poorly written, containing innumerable gramatical errors and made-up sounding technologies. It looks to me like a geek or three with a basic knowledge of computer technology, a CAD program, and way too much time on their hands did this.

What keeps their site running? I mean, it's not really that funny... it's like a really bad joke whose aura still lingers.

We've had at least three threads about this over the years. And always some of our users mentioned it being real, that they've heard of someone almost going through the ordering process or something like that. It _is_ simply a fake. What keeps the site running? Fun, probably. Maybe they want to look at how many tech magazines print articles about them without ever having touched any hardware...

Yea, me too!!! I'd have one displayed solely for the benefit of neighbours and passers-by. And if it gets nicked, what the hell. It's fake anyway!
