    Just a thought ....

    I can guess everyone has now heard about Microsoft buying Skype for $8.5 Billion.

    Now everyone remember when Microsoft bought Danger and then the dogfood episode when Microsoft switch Danger's sun servers to Microsoft servers bringing the sideKick mobile phone network down for days.

    So the news of Microsoft getting Skype, with Skype servers all running Linux, and Microsoft will replace all those Skype Servers to Microsoft servers. So when will this "dogfooding" bring down Skype?

    Let's see.
    I hope they don't make Skype suck more. If they do, I guess I'll look at other options for international calls as soon as my few $ of call credit is done. (None of those fancy all you can call packages, just cheap calls to the countries and numbers I need for personal use).

    Microsoft does have a pretty interesting list of companies it has tried to purchase or has purchased in the past. Nokia, Yahoo...
