Help with running Bootcamp

Hi,
Im sure this question is terribly basic and hopefully easy. I have downloaded bootcamp and installed the package. I have updated my firmware to the latest offered on the Mac website as of 7/3/06. When I install bootcamp, it creates another icon on the desktop called Boot Camp Assistant. When I click to open this, it just opens the installation window again. I cannot figure out how to actually run boot camp so that I can create the partition, etc.. I am a new Mac user, but this seems strange. I appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks.

What Mac are you using, btw? Remember that this doesn't work on PowerPC-based Macintosh computers, only on the Intel-based Macs.

Did you open the "Boot Camp Assistant" that automatically installed to the Utilities folder of the Applications folder?
