I'm currently using a PowerBook G4 but plan to updgrade soon to a MacBook. I currently use Virtual PC for a few Windows apps I use which are not available for Mac. My question is...does Parallels access to the MacBook's AirPort and Bluetooth? I'm interested in purchasing Delorme's Street Atlas USA for use onthe MacBook. It is only availble for Windows as Delorme dropped Mac support years ago. They offer a Bluetooth GPS module for use with Street Atlas and I'd like to be sure that Parallels will work with it before I buy it. |

Yes it does. I'm quite impressed with Parallels. The only problem I've had with hardware between the Mac and the Virtual Machine was a Logitech joystick. For some reason the USB joystick connected to the Mac could not be enabled in Parallels.

Hi Wraith... Thanks for the heads up. I plan on getting the MacBook by the end of the year and knowing that Parallels supports Bluetooth makes the decision easier. I may just wait to pick it up after 10.5 is released. We'll see... |
