| For future reference: How did you start the firmware upgrade process again after it had failed?

| HI, I am also getting the white screen of death (rebooting just gets me to a white screen; holding down the 'c' key while my OSX install CD is in the macbook pro gets me nowhere). Now, in fact, i can't even eject my disk, even while holding down the left mouse button while restarting. I've also tried booting into safe mode. Anyone w/similar problems? |

| Try this 1- Unplug everything from the back except the power, keyboard, mouse and monitor. 2- Restart holding alt you should then see you HD click it and then run disk utility once booted. 3- Remove boot camp. Everything was fine with my machine once i did this. Hope it helps |
