Video capture/editing on XP

Has anyone had any experience doing any video work on the XP platform with a macbook pro?

Im wondering how the Firewire interface is operating in XP...

Would ideally like to use Premiere Pro, and Windows Media Encoder.

Any experience comments welcome.

Regards,
Swami Jon

I've no experience with these specific things, but your MacBook Pro running Windows XP with the BootCamp drivers installed is basically a PC notebook running Windows XP. The ports are not in any way emulated: They're there as hardware and as good as the drivers installed for them make them be.
