How to back up a Boot Camp partition?

My HD failed shortly after I had installed Leopard plus WinXP using Boot Camp. Luckily I had a back up of my Leopard (Mac) partition but not the Boot Camp (WinXP) FAT32 partition. That meant a laborious re-install.

Thoroughly chastened, I am now searching for a way to back up my (new) WinXP partition. I discovered "WinClone" but this app only works on NTFS-formatted drives, not on FAT32. Carbon Copy Cloner seems to work but I am not sure it would give me a functioning restored drive.

Anyone know the best way to back up a FAT32 formatted drive containing Windows XP?
