| Curious if there is any way to fix this short of reinstalling the windows install. And even if that is the solution, I still would like to use the space. My bootcamp install is/was on a second physical drive. 680 gig. I wanted fat32 so I could share files, so I made a 32gig fat32 partition and installed windows. No problems. I booted into windows and formatted the remaining free space on the disk into a NTFS partition. Just for data storage. I dont want to waste some 600 odd gigs of space. I booted back into osx and theres no bootcamp viewable, I can't even tell it to reboot into windows again. Im assuming formatting any part of the drive via windows somehow screwed something up. If I need to reinstall and start over, thats understandable (although if theres a way around it I'd rather not). However I definitely want to make use of that other 600 gigs of space and not just leave it floating out there. Help? |
